it's christmas eve eve and i have been doing the last minute things you do to get ready for the two big days........traditions.....aren't they fun. we try and keep to them and if i even suggest changing something.......wow....i get in trouble.
today was shopping, grocery shopping, baking, wrapping, setting the table for christmas day, organizing children and their wrapping, bathing the dogs, ordering a new doggie collar for my big girl macy, driving to ft. worth for risky's bbq sauce. we wouldn't beable to have ribs tuesday if we didn't get the right sauce. seeing the lights in downtown......wow they were wonderful.
i have been having a hard time here in texas...i miss my old traditions in california....the boat parades in san diego, my favorite mexican restaurant in old town san diego, the lights on coronado and the drive down orange avenue. the mission inn, idyllwild and shopping, the snow on the mountains, palm springs tram, dog beach in san diego and the kids skim boarding during christmas week.....so i am trying to do things here to make it fun.....so that was why we went downtown tonight to see sundance square........
well check in tomorrow .........i have a new slide show to share...wont' want to miss this....
