thankful

it's fun to see God work in our lives. this past year with john's surgery, our postponing our move, things seemed to be up in the air. john was not happy at his job, we didn't like texas, but we didn't get to leave either....and here we are a year later and we are leaving texas and john has a new job. i was reminded of a verse last year that i quoted a long time ago to myself..."be content in whatever state you are in" .....i interpreted the word "state" as a real state....like "the state of texas"....so after all the disappointments of last year i decided that i was gonna be happy in texas, like my surroundings and just be content.....it's neat how God responds to our obedience.. savannah is going to be such a neat place to be....we are so excited having just returned from a house hunting trip....is everything going smoothly? NO.....do we have our house sold yet? NO......do we have a house picked out to buy? NO.............but it's all in God's time...in his hands....and we can just take one day at a time and know that "all things work together for His good......so today i am thankful for.....today!
