date day.......

today was date day....i try and make a date day twice a month for john and i...it gets us out of the house and gives us some time to spend together without feeling like we "have to get something done"....today we left early, i packed up a breakfast picnic, we went to tybee and tried a new beach.  it was where the river and the ocean meet.  it was hot today, full sun and lots to see..... shrimp boats, birds, shells, big ships coming in to port and sand......it was lovely....we headed off to downtown for lunch at vinni van gogo's...i have heard about this pizza place....it was delish...........mmmmm just like new jersey boardwalk pizza!!!!!  i love our date days and i love my hubby!!!
