it's a chicken!!!

i've been wanting chickens for quite some time now...i have the perfect location and i love seeing them roaming around...there are some very lovely looking chickens and i was hopeful i would be able to one day have them for my own....well meet my chickens....they came to me one day old...in a box...in the mail....i had to dip their beaks into water to teach them to drink...then introduce them to food so they would each....they are a delight....

this is ruth ellen today.....6 days old.... she is a bared rock

in the back is the rhode island red and kimmy names her for me...henrietta....
and in the front is miss bertha....she is so sweet and she is a red buff

here in front on the left is eula...she is darling and is a white bared rock....and of course
miss henrietta is stompin her foot!!

raisn sniffs away but still isn't quite sure what they are...but she is never far from the brooder!!

and finally miss henrietta the drama queen...she is flapping her wings at raisin...not sure she likes this dog!!!
