slippery rock

road trips have always been fun!!! i suppose the kids figured that out too! for christmas taylor bought me a one way ticket home from slippery rock......we had soooo much fun heading out at 4am....driving 1300 miles together....stopping for yummy food.......spending the night in a hampton (comfy beds) ...seeing logan at college.....lunch at mike and rosies, dinner with ski, cheryl, peewee, vicki...dessert at vicki's house.....seeing amy and her girls....prego kelly.....and then meeting tate's friends at school.......going to rachel's roadhouse for soft pretzels dipped in dark chocolate.......mmmm my favorite.....and the pub in town.......mmm delicious food........we shopped for supplies for the semester and enjoyed just a good time together....he took me all over to take some neat pictures of the streams around where he is....so neat to see with the snow and ice....a bit rainy but fun just the same....taylor has one year left.....he will be finished with classes in dec....i am so proud of him...he's got a real busy, tough semester this spring.....if you think of it pray for him....lot's of busy work with his classes, the ranger program on top of that, handgun classes on thursday night and the emt program on mon, wed, and every other saturday all day long.........busy boy but so excited for his upcoming summer placement.....can't wait to find out where he will be working law enforcement!!! which park will it be????????????
