while the painter is hard at work with his crew upstairs....yes it's not completed yet...we had some delays with a sick crew cheif and then the tile guys messed up progress....but it's coming along...i am loving it....so while they are at work upstairs taylor and i decided that we needed to get rid of the kitchen backsplash...it was hideous....so with hammers and chisels we got to work...what a mess...........we got right down to the wallboard and had to remove that too...so we get to try our hand at putting up wallboard ....it's been so much fun...the progress is slow...we expect a few more weeks before we can have the delivery of our things but....it's so exciting to anticipate what it's going to look like....i'm loving it so far...colors are super....
after long hard days working we do enjoy too...taylor gets in some fishing time...he's so cute and patient....i'm amazed he can sit for hours fishing, calling in ducks...enjoying putting out traps.......since he was a wee little guy he was like that...i'm enjoying my time with him...

It's fun hearing about all the progress. Love that you aren't frustrated like most people in the middle of these kinds of projects. Can't wait to see it. Takes lots of before and afters.
