happy birthday to my daddy.........

birthday's are special and today is my dad's birthday.....richard douglas christen...he's turning 71 today and i really still can't believe he's getting older...i know i am older but i still think of him as i did when i was a little kid.....he's my dad....he won't ever get older, he just is.....i was thinking of some of the things that make my dad special......hmmm let me see....

1. he has me for a daughter.....hahahah oh he will love this one..
2. he loves God with all his heart, soul and mind
3. he lead me to Christ when i was young and taught me the ways of the Lord.
4. i think he's the only dad to do the snoopy dance in public.
5. he can cry with me, laugh with me, and since i have gotten older we can talk
together and he actually listens to what i am saying...(i think he realizes
i am smarter than he thought)
6. he has the shiniest head of anyone i know...
7. he loves my mom with all his heart...
8. oh he plays a mean trombone and i miss hearing him practice each night!!
9. he would sit for hours and tell me about heaven!!!
10. he's special cause he's my dad!!!!
