vintage treasure

a treasure i found today is this frame...i went to a new place called two women and a warehouse.. it was amazing... nicely cared for old furniture and accessories..it was lovely and i picked up this frame and a pair of turkey's for my thanksgiving table and some beautiful dried hydrangeas.....

now the treasure in the frame is my mother...she is the best treasure i have ever found...well she found me...well okay she made me...but the Lord gave us each other and i am forever greatful. she was a patient, kind mother who only once in awhile chased us and tried to slap us across the face....( when we deserved it)....she was tender when we were sick....she was there for me when i was alone raising three children, she became their momma, was with them through good and bad times, healthy and sick...(they always threw up in her car).she taught them all to chew gum at 12 months..she taught aubrey how to wear undies and bra's at 2....she loved on my crier baby taylor, she loved on my good baby logan, took him to summer art classes..... she rocked them all, she is still the love of their lives....i love her and am looking forward to the years ahead when i can be all those things to her and more!!
