i may not be paula dean but i do love to bake......and i was always inspired by susan gibbs.....she is a cake maker, baker.......she is incredible and was my mom's neighbor for years.. each time we had pot luck at our little church in hemet, susan would bring the best food.. if we were lucky she would bring one of her famous cakes........and so.......i wanted to try a cake this easter..... here is a picture....it passed the taste test today...john and aubrey sampled it tonight and said......mmmmm good!

we had a good dinner andlots of deserts at the Corrieas house....
