glassware

do you ever look at something in your house, on a shelf and think about what it's heard all these years? like if you were the jar, what secrets would you hold? this cookie jar was in my dad's kitchen when he was a small boy....hornell new york for sure and maybe even earlier when he lived in endicott, ny., or even atlantic city, nj.....it's fun to look at it and think it's been around at least 71 years.....what has it heard over the years?? richard, don't you get into that cookie jar!!! richard just one!!! richard don't you drop that jar!! etc............i just got that jar a few years ago and have found it precious.....precious cause i think of my dad as a little guy so many years ago and know he has touched it, and eaten many many cookies out of it!! all homemade i am sure by my nana christen......good memories!!!
