well today is day 8..........and we are still here.....waiting....today was all about waiting.....we were to see a gastro guy and he isn't showing up.....so we can't do anything until we see him....john is the same today as he was yesterday.....except i cleaned his toes today......stinky feet....pee uuuuuu......we walked today.....he ate popcicles , one red, green, and purple.....sat up and read the newspaper....watched bonanza......and rested...
aubrey did come and rescue me...we left and set john up with aubrey's computer and an i touch and a phone.......he was occupied so we dashed downstairs and went to the dollar store...looking for ring boxes and found none..and then aubrey dropped me off to get my toes done..oh boy did that feel wonderful....and then off to la madeline's for lunch......an egg omelet and a cup of tomato basil soup......oh my goodness did it taste good.....aubrey had an omelet too and a strawberry tart...delicious.....
then back to prison.....oops i mean the hospital...john was in good spirits and then we walked him again....and now he is in bed napping and waiting for the football game tonight....
we are waiting on the Lord and trusting that He knows best and that we will be home when we are supposed to...but it isn't easy!!!!

Sounds like everyone is finding their pleasures where they can. Sometimes it is the little things that make a bad time tolerable.
Pam, you find the most interesting ways to have fun.sorry that John is still in the hospital.we are praying every day that he will get better and better with each passing day.
