oh i love the fall....and it's fall in texas.....we have had two days of rain, and today was sunny and then cold thick full clouds rolled in......oooh so cozy....and it helps with a hubby who is only in bed or in the chair....it feels like we slept all day long......i did make chili and cornbread for his buddies...they stopped by to check on john's progress and i fed them.....they are the neatest guys...they love to eat and i love to cook....so it works out great.....one of the guys loves pumpkin anything..so i had pumpkin cheesecake, pumpkin cookies, pumpkin bread pudding and sugar cookies shaped like pumpkins.........mmmmm yummmm and john stayed awake for the 2 hours they were all here........yeah for fall.......yeah for healing.......yeah for pumpkins!!!

ooh to have some cheesecake! our cheesecake factory closed when we were in calif. last march and we are still in mourning.
glad to know that john is home where he can rest better and heal faster. does sound like he will be putting on a few pounds with all your cooking. wish i could cook like you.
tom and i think of you and john often. our prayers are that he will be healthy soon. he has the best nurse in the world.

Yes, he does have the best nurse in the world, and she is going to be mine when i am old and sick... YEH!!!
