wednesday.......day 7...........

here i sit by the bedside of my hubby.....he is progressing but very very slowly......we had expected to be home by now......and it looks like it might be a few more days...his surgery site looks good but his belly isn't co operating too well......his body has not woken up yet...his intestines aren't moving the way they are supposed to......(yes he is going potty)......but he can't take anything orally yet.....it won't go past his stomach......ugggg...

we are walking, no narcotics, and we are still waiting for him to get "moving"....
he is discouraged today.....puking with your chest recently opened up isn't fun!!!

i had been 48 hours in here.....(he doesn't let me leave him)...so i quickly went home for a bath and change of clothes.....aubrey keeps us company each day and runs out to get me lunch........

keep praying that things get going so we can be home in our comfy family room soon!!
