second surgery................

well my hubby does it right when he does it.......today he went in for his second surgery in a week...the drs decided that he had an obstruction in his small intestines...they did a cat scan late last night to confirm their suspicions....this morning our surgeon came in and told us that it indeed looked like a blockage of some sort....
surgery was set for today....they took him at noon and he is now back in the room recovering .....he is comfortable with his pain pump and will sleep well tonight. i am staying with him...it seems like we have 6 more days here....
good thing we have good nurses and we like our view from the 5th floor.........

a friend shared with us psalm 46 the other night and we have been reading and re-reading that scripture and it sure does give us peace....john said just a few minutes ago that he wasn't anxious waiting in the pre-op room. he really felt the peace of the Lord and he was thankful for that experience.
it's amazing how we see day by day the little things that He is trying to teach us...
to God be the Glory great things He has done!!!
