well i promised i wouldnt' post a picture of my poor hubby.....so i won't......but for all of you who have been praying for him......here is the update:
3 hours of surgery
a large thyoma was removed from behind his sternum....48 hrs for pathology report but they feel like it was not cancer..
he has a lot of pain but he's in icu and they are looking after him wonderfully
it's awful to be helpless when you are watching someone you love so much hurt...he squeezes my hand and smiles and keeps asking me the same questions over and over....he is breathing shallow cause it hurts so much.. gets morphine every hours or so.......but it's on the other side of surgery now and he will keep getting better.......
God is good.....:)

Thanks for the update, Pam. Poor John. Tough, tough, tough! But, our God is able, able, able!
It is hard watching the one you love hurting. Take care of yourself and tell John we love him.
I AM SO happy it is over.... You need your rest , so go home tonight and get a good nights sleep.

Thought about the two of you all day and kept saying little prayers. So glad surgery is over, I know the recovery will be rough, but he will be back to normal in no time.
