one of my favorite things to do when i visit california is eat all the things that i miss...all those good comfort foods that aren't here in texas....steve's breakfast burrito, taco shop breakfast burrito, taco shops shredded burrito wet with onions and cheese on top, steve's french toast, la fogata's machacca and corn tortillas, okay so it all seems like mexican food and that's because texas doesn't know what mexican food is......john went with me this last trip and he likes to eat too.....so we ate all the above and on our way out of town we stopped by our favorite doughnut shop..janie's....we used to go with the aubrey and the boys on saturday mornings and pick out a dozen or so and enjoy..........mmm yum...one of our favorites was this one...and john named it the hamburger doughnut......wow...it was just as good as it looks!!!

Ok, now you are way too funny! You didn't tell me you wanted doughnuts. We would have taken you for them you silly girl. The food is delicious isn't it???
I want one, except we have them here at Wegmans..... Can't wait to come to Texas and got to Whataburger, yeh!!!
Those donuts remind me of these cookies up at UCLA -- dede reece (don't remember how it's spelled), but they were the most delicious cookies. Oldies but goodies. Glad you were able to hit all the good spots in Hemet while you were here...we can't thank you enough for being here (and JOHN Too...he was so fun:))!!!
You have made me very hungry for all the old eats. i had meant to get to steve's and taco shop while we were there in feb, but didn't get a chance. i really wanted a breakfast burrito bad! at least you have texmex in texas, they don't have a clue up here in idaho. you never told me about the donut shop, they look deelish! i am so glad you were able to go to justine's party. i really wish we could have been there, but i did think about you all that day. i really miss you and justine.
